Deb’s Responses to the Northampton SEPAC Questionnaire
On October 10, 2025, the Northampton Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) sent a brief questionnaire of four questions to all candidates for Mayor, City Council, and School Committee (including write-in candidates), requesting responses within two weeks. A total of 26 candidates shared their responses – read Deb’s responses here and find a link to all the responses.

This is the last 2 weeks of the final crunch up to the September 16th Preliminary. I would greatly appreciate your financial support to get me into the Council for YOUR VOICES to be heard – and listened to!! I am putting out a CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS who support me to help with “literature drops” in all the wards – no knocking on doors, just dropping off palm cards.
Gathering on Alternative Budgeting, August 27th
Join us at Florence Civic Center next Wednesday eve for Deb’s next Gathering during which we will discuss all things budget!! We’ll start off with a presentation by Tyler Barnett, a corporate/finance lawyer who really digs talking about city budget practices and options. We promise to keep it lively. Refreshments provided. This location is accessible and has free parking.
Recap of July 31st Gathering of Candidates
The July 31st Change Candidates Gathering was well attended; some 35 people braved the thunderstorms and heavy rain to come out and discuss city politics! Quite a dedicated bunch! Numerous candidates for city council, school committee, and one for mayor (Dan Breindel) joined the party and presented their background and platforms.
